Staging

What can you expect at your initial consultation?

  •  A meeting and tour with the homeowners. This will include walking through the house, getting an idea of the area’s in need of updating.  We often discuss general staging ideas and benefits of staging versus not staging.
  • A discussion of budget. Each situation is unique.  In this market, it often takes some money to sell the home.  Updating paint colors, buying accessories or furniture are all key items that are essential to selling fast – and for top dollar.
  • A detailed room by room staging plan and recommended budget. Once we have toured the home, we prepare a detailed staging plan that goes room by room.  We are specific with our plan, right down to furniture placement.  A ballpark budget is created as a guide to homeowners so that there are no surprises.
  • A follow up with the homeowner. Depending on the client, this follow up will be in person, telephone or via email.

The initial consultation is an opportunity to discuss with the homeowners some of the key areas that need to be neutralized. Our experience and expertise allow Realtors to focus on their job, which is to market and sell the home. The Stager’s job is to create a neutral home that will appeal to a broad range of buyers. Home Staging is most often less than a price reduction and improves the saleability of the home by nearly 50%.
